This easy-to-make table decoration helps to create an intimate and glittering atmosphere and keeps the warmth of Christmas around even after the holiday is over. Just have a go at it!

1. What You’ll Need

You will need a straw-wreath, a grey knitted scarf, 4 silver candles, silver paint, a wooden plate with a Christmas greeting, a small wooden deer, 4 small (2cm) Christmas tree bulbs, a length of silver bead garland, white beads, silver glittering balls, acorns, casuarina, mini pine cones.

 

 

2. Things to Prepare for the Base

To create the base of the table piece you will need a straw-wreath, a grey scarf, a pair of scissors and a glue gun.

3. Glue the Knitted Material to your Wreath

Cut a length of the scarf to match the diameter of the outside of the straw-wreath and use pins and the glue gun to attach the knitted material to the wreath.

4. Attach the Candles

You will need some wire, pliers and a lighter to attach the candles.

5. Use the Wire Pieces

Cut four equal pieces off the wire, use the lighter to heat one end of each, then with the help of the pliers stick the hot end of the wire into the candles and the other end into the wreath.

6. Gather the Materials for the Decor

Now collect the nuts, the cones and any other pieces that you’d like to use to create the decoration. You can use practically anything you like as long as they are grey or white in color.

7. Start Painting

Paint the acorns silver to give the wreath an even more special look. Let them dry for about ten minutes before you glue them to the wreath.

8. Add the Materials you Want to Use

As a last step, attach the nuts, the cones and the other pieces to the wreath. Start it at the base of one of the candles so that you can arrange them neatly. Once all the nuts are in place, you can place the wooden plate and the deer on the wreath.
